A: Studio photography offers a controlled environment with beautiful studio lighting. Unlike outdoor sessions, there are no worries about unpredictable weather, harsh sunlight, or difficult lighting conditions.

Q: Who are studio sessions suitable for?
A: Studio sessions are perfect for any age. Young children, older children, even grandparents.
Q: How many people can take part in a studio session?
A: Studio sessions are suitable for up to 6 people.
Q: What is your studio photography style?
A: My studio photography style is minimal, where portrait images are photographed against carefully selected light and dark plain coloured backdrops, while silhouette images are captured in black and white from a side profile for a more artistic finish.. Tyler Bannister Photography specialises in clean and simple studio photography with minimal distractions.
Q: Can I choose the backdrop colours?
A: Yes. Before your studio session, you’ll receive a pre-session questionnaire where you can select a backdrop colour.
Q: What should we wear for a studio photography session?
A: Neutral coloured clothing such as cream, beige, white, grey, and earthy tones soft textures with photograph beautifully, but this will also depend on the chosen backdrop colour. Your session will include a mix of close-up, mid-range, and full-length images, so it’s important to consider your full outfit when planning what to wear. Above all, choose clothing that you feel comfortable and confident in. I recommend avoiding busy patterns, big logos and characters, and bright colours. Q: How long does a studio session last?
A: A Studio session lasts up to 1 hour, allowing time for 1-3 outfit changes.
Q: How soon will we receive our studio photos?
A: Your soft-edited studio preview gallery is delivered within 1 week after your session. Once you have selected your image package and payment has been received, your final gallery will be ready within 2 weeks for download, printing, and sharing.
Q: Do you provide studio session clothing and outfits?
A: No. What you choose to wear plays a big part in reflecting your family’s personal style, and bringing your own clothing allows for a more natural and authentic result.
Q: Do you offer digital images?
A: Tyler Bannister Photography offers a selection of digital image packages so you can choose the option that best suits your needs. Each package includes a set number of fully edited, high-resolution images delivered as digital downloads, ready for you to print, share, and enjoy at home.
Q: Do you offer physical printed artwork?
A: Selected digital image packages include complimentary matching 5x7 inch physical prints. Please contact Tyler Bannister Photography for current package information. No additional printed artwork is offered directly, allowing you the flexibility to choose your own printing services based on your personal budget.
Q: Can I change outfits at my studio session?
A: Yes. There is time for 1–3 outfit changes, depending on the number of participants and how quickly outfit changes can be made during the session.
